Apparently I can't just have a photo blog. I need to write. Write. WRITE I say! And write I shall. When I have something of substance to say. Which apparently is not today. Or at least not today so far anyway.
I did, however, add back the older posts for your reading pleasure. The rest of my posts are private friends only. Which means you need a vox account and my friendship in order to read them.
Yeah. My friendship. You know you want it.
Currently reading this week's issue of US Weekly and Murder List by Julie Garwood, which I've had on my bookshelf ever since it first came out in 2004 and am just now getting around to reading. I have quite a few books like that actually. Which is kind of cool when it's pouring rain out and you don't feel like going to the library to find a book to read. You just head over to your bookshelf and voila! Something good to read. So far this book is okay. It's the 4th one I've read by her. Her style is historical romances and suspense romances. I favor the latter and highly recommend Killjoy, Heartbreaker and Slow Burn if you're in need of something good to read.
Trying something new around here. A photo-a-day blog minus the pressure of having to actually capture/post a photo a day. Although sometimes I might post more than one photo a day. Let's just say it's subjective to time and mood but my goal would be to aim for a photo a day.
Also I moved all of my written posts to friends view only, so other than my photo posts none of my previously written posts will appear publicly. I may or may not continue posting written only posts but if I do those will most likely continue as private friends only posts so you'll need a vox account and my approval to view those.
Now I have this strange compulsion to go back through my blog entries and delete the ones that don't matter anymore or where the circumstances changed or whatnot. Is that weird?
My ability to blog is seriously suffering due to my addiction
to Twitter. Which, I might add, feeds into my love for being able to spout off the many numerous random
thoughts that enter my head throughout the day. And trust me, there are many. However, there is a serious side effect to all this twittering -- it causes me to forget how to blog. Oh the horror! But I suppose I really should make more of an effort to actually write I guess so this place doesn't sit around gathering dust and cobwebs. At least vox is free. I can blog up a storm or blog sporadically and my wallet thanks me either way. Love it!
Wow. Billy Hufsey linked to my blog! The real Billy Hufsey! I have to admit when I first saw that he had linked to my blog I thought it was some kind of joke. But it's really him! I remember watching him on Days of Our Lives in the late 80's. He played Emilio if I remember correctly. Those were good times on the soap back then. I remember watching the show with my mom when I got home from school. She's watched Days for as long as I can remember and I ended up getting addicted to the show thanks to her. Though I have to admit I don't really watch Days anymore but it's good to see Billy on TV again. He's currently starring in Confessions of a Teen Idol on VH1 (along with some other famous faces) which I stumbled across a few Sunday's ago and also got hooked on.
